It for my personal studies in bible. I realized self reflection to evaluate my negative attitudes and positive attitudes to examine whether my new learning could be adjusted to improve my negative attitudes and behaviors to be a better person. I did not have teaching experience I applied this learning in this course to my personal studies. it helped me to improve myself even sometimes I am failing to make my action and decision right, at least I can continously measure myself which areas of my attitudes need to improve.

Utility of final exam was neglected in the public schools especially when I was in elementary years. As far as I remembered, after our third grading period, the class was busy preparing for the program for the recognition day. Most of the time was spent in practice and I was very sure, my teacher already knew the rank of the outstanding students in the class. If I were not in practice my friend and I were in the field getting the fruits to bring in the school. No academic activities were given on that time. So I think final exam was taken for granted in my earlier years

having a retentive memory could be a sign of intelligence. not necessarily because in my point of view if a person is weak in applying the retained knowledge to his real life situation is just kind of a shallow or surface learning. for me, intelligence measure is when a learner could create a new process from the original ideas, knowledge and skills.

my take home for learning for this module that producing of a good assessment would develop good opportunities to the lives of each learner. it is important to focus on the student learning type of assessment to emphasize the potential learning and real life application. all six category of taxonomy are all important in obtaining highest degree of learning since the process of learning is a step by step procedure means start with lowest type of acquiring knowledge, skills in order to step up to the higher level of learning skills. since i know now the principles and significance of assessment i will try all the basic principles rather than to make it shortcut so that i knew to myself even it will consume lots of time and effort, my teaching method is surely effective and base on the foundation and framework of proper assessment because lives of young students lie on my hands to provide them a brighter and hopeful future that only for their own good but for the good of our nation.

As a learner, I realized that any challenges in learning build a growth mind- set.  I should have self-assessment about my weakness and think how would I improve this failure to be my strength.

My favorite saying when I was in college “never say die “by Ginebra team which is applicable to my studies.  Meaning, whatever I may go through, never give up to search the way to improve my learning performance.  I should not be contented of what I learned, update and adept by continuing education.  Realizing that as a person or learner I should critically re assess leaning, knowledge, skills for better performances.

Yes,I have realized only now, the important role of educational assessment and learning processes.  I strongly agreed to the values of assessment that a beter assessment will lead to better opportunities to the student’s life.  Having good assessment will result to the effective methods of teaching and elimination of unprofitable outcome of learning processes.  Teachers could see and adapt her learning processes depend on the the needs and individuality of each student’s she has taught.

I definitely agreed that assessment is a meaningful technique to evaluate each student’s performance academically and perhaps even enjoyable to the students because of many options of testing their achievements and academic abilities.  The practicing teacher would advise their students to focus in their weaknesses for the improvement and their strength to be developed to the fullest in their outmost potential.

My insight to this lesson is that , I should not overlook the importance of the assessment especially for my professional growth, therefore I could maximize the treatment to my patientsthat lead for them to have a normal recovery  to their condition.

feedback is a process of constructive, timely and meaningful correction or way of improvement a process or procedure of a certain task, behavior, attitude or character. it is a process to make things perfect or character flawless. a feedback could be from our parents, mentor, councilor with the purpose which is improvement to be a better person or learner. i may say that feedback would be effective once the performer will be able to execute the whole steps if it a kind of procedure. or if in spiritual aspect, if a person portrays the Christ like character being righteous and holy as a result of perfect execution of feedback

As a student, I prefer to the alternative performance based assessment because it’s a student centered assessment.  If only reliability could prove, it is possible to reform the educational practice solely in non- traditional, reflective assessment.  High stakes assessment is quite threatening to me, since I don’t believe that failure on that assessment means that I am not credible to practice my chosen profession or my career path would halt.  This would hinder me to fully developed my potential and stop me to contribute something in my society. 

Factors that influence me in preparation to upcoming assessment is the recognition of the society for me to be legible to practice my profession.  It is sad to realize that I spent half of my life in studying but in the end I would be misplaced. 

Self – fulfillment –  it is also a driving force to prepare in the upcoming assessment for me to satisfy myself that I got the license to practice.

Family pressure – also specially if you know that they have big expectation about the result of the exam.

Social pressure- wanting to be accepted by the people in my community.

As a future educator, i prefer to use mix of formal and the student – learner assessment because I want to involve my student and be the owner of his learning likewise use of formal assessment to give emphasized the major details of the content knowledge and orderliness  of elaboration of teaching methods in the classroom setting.

self assessment is an evaluation of the current knowledge and skills possessed by a person. it is the consequence after period of lesson and classroom. peer assessment is a positive comment to the individual. that result permanent learning
